Sugaring Massage Pack
+ Why is sugar good for your skin?
Sugar has been used in medicine for centuries for its holistic healing abilities. In addition to its preservative and anti-bacterial properties, sugar also promotes cell regeneration, which is why it has traditionally been used to heal bruises and cuts. In fact, it is still used today as the main ingredient in some bedsore creams. To explain in more familiar terms, let’s recall that sugar is commonly used in cooking to soften certain foods — for example, it is well known that boiling dried beans with sugar makes them soft and plump. The Japanese call this technique “the law of cooking beans”, and sugar can do the same for your skin! Sugar has exceptional moisturizing properties: it can soften dead skin cells, stimulating the skin’s metabolism while reinforcing its barrier function. This miracle skincare ingredient provides immediate relief for dryness, which is said to be at the root of a whole host of skin problems.
Sugar is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. So when you apply products with sugar or sugar derivatives, they’ll actually help hydrate your skin and keep moisture within. Secondly, sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an AHA that penetrates the skin and breaks down the “glue” that bonds skin cells, encouraging cell turnover and generating fresher, younger-looking skin.1
Who can use your products?

Other than women who loves our products, it is very popular with men too. Sucre is excellent for use in the shower and highly effective as an aftershave treatment. Our all-natural sugaring massage pack contains natural essential oils that protect against razor burn and leave behind a fresh and subtle scent. The most popular scent among men is Japanese Mint — an invigorating fragrance. It is a great gift for men.
+ Can I use the Sugaring Massage Pack every day?
Yes, it is safe to use every day. In fact, in order to maximize its benefits we encourage you to make it a part of your daily beauty routine!
+ Where is your product made in?
Our product is manufactured in Hokkaido, Japan using the world’s only non-GMO Modified beet sugar.
+ What is a sugar beet and what is beet sugar?
The sugar beet, also known as "beetroot" or "sweet radish", is a vegetable root native to colder regions and contains an equally high concentration of sucrose (sugar).
Sugar beets have been cultivated in Japan for centuries, but the plant only grows in the northern island of Hokkaido. The crystallized sugar extracted from the Hokkaido plant is called beet sugar and is one of the primary active ingredients used in our products.
While pure sugar looks similar, its properties can differ depending on how it is produced. Cane sugar produced under hot and humid conditions tends to have a cooling effect on the body, whereas beet sugar produced in cold conditions provides our bodies with warmth.
+ How is Sugaring different from a salt scrub?
When we think of scrubs we tend to think of salt, but our Sugaring Massage Pack is made with sugar produced in Japan. Sugar isn’t as harsh on your skin as salt, and is suitable for use on all types of skin. In addition, as each and every grain of sugar is coated with plant oils (using a U.S. patented process), the rough edges of the grains do not scratch directly against the skin — as a result, our Sugaring Massage Pack is ideal to care for the face and other sensitive skin.
+ Does your products contain additives or preservatives?
No, all of our products are formulated with all-natural ingredients. We do not use any synthetic preservatives.
+ I have sensitive skin. Can I use your product?
Sucre's founder first developed sugaring in order to relieve her daughter’s eczema. After receiving advice from a friend, she was struck by sugar’s effectiveness in healing her daughter´s condition. After learning that sugar promotes skin cell regeneration and prevents bacteria, she set on a journey to create a gentle skin care product that was safe and completely free from artificial colors, fragrances and preservatives.
It is perfectly safe to use on sensitive skin, to treat eczema, and for use on babies. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend that you use the finer-grained Massage and Pack formula not only on the face but on the whole body too.
However if you have extremely sensitive and allergic skin, it’s always recommended to do a patch test for compatibility prior to using any new products.
+ What should I do if my skin reacts badly to the products?
If your skin reacts badly to any cosmetic, stop using it right away. Our products are all-natural and are designed to be safe and gentle on your skin. Problems should not arise with normal use, but there may be certain individuals who find that their skin does not react well to the products. Some of these reactions may in fact be temporary symptoms caused by outside factors, such as sickness or changes in the weather. If you experience any itching, redness, swelling, rash-like symptoms, or irritation while using or after using our products, please stop use and see your dermatologist. Please avoid using it on damaged skin, such as scratched or swollen areas.
+ How should the Sugaring Massage Pack be stored?
Store the Sugaring Massage Pack in a cool place away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight. If water gets into the container, the sugar may dissolve and harden, so take care to keep it dry. If stored on its side or at an angle, oil may also leak from the container. Also, don't leave it out without the lid, because the sugar may attract ants or other bugs.
+ Will the product clog our skin?
Our products are non-comedogenic.
+ What is the benefit of the dense bubbles of the sugar soap?
The bubbles creates a barrier between the hands and the face so that the hands does not touch the face while you are cleansing with the sugar soap.
+ Why is the lotion so watery?
Our lotion is designed in a way that it is watery in nature. The good thing about the lotion is that it is easily absorbed and it does not leave a sticky feeling. A sticky lotion is more likely to attract and adhere dust to the face.
+ I read that I do not need to rinse my baby after soaking in the Sugaring Bath. Will that attract ants to bite my baby?
Don’t worry. The sugar has been dissolved in the bath and the residual that is left on the skin is not enough to attract ants.
+ What is the difference between the Baby Organic Moisturing Lotion and Organic Squalane Oil?
The Moisturing Lotion is sufficient for use as a moisturizer for the skin. If your baby have very dry skin, or has developed nappy rash, the Squalane Oil can be used as a barrier to protect the sensitive baby skin against the harsh elements.
After you have massaged baby with the Organic Squalane Oil, don’t waste the residual amount left on your hands. It can be used as a hair oil as well as lip moisturizer for adults!
+ Is Sugaring safe for babies?
Sugaring is perfectly safe for babies. Our Baby Organic Sugaring Massage Pack formula includes 100% food grade natural ingredients and is harmless even if accidentally ingested. So please enjoy using it with complete peace of mind. We’ve launched a new version of Sucre formulated just for babies.
